When Stephanie and I were planning the book club, one idea we landed on early on was that of a collaborative travel and memory map. There is nothing like hearing first hand about someone’s adventures and discoveries and memories, and where it all went down. Together, as a book club, we are such a diverse—and dispersed—group of people, that it’s hard to even imagine what stories are waiting in a potential state (a la Tokarczuk’s idea that everyone’s story is a novel.)

So this week, we’re pleased to present an interactive map where we can add the places that are memorable and meaningful to us.

Maybe it’s a distant place you’ve traveled to. Or perhaps it’s the park around the corner. It might be a place where something about you changed forever. Or, maybe it’s a fun, random memory and you have no idea why it stuck around. Maybe it’s a cafe? A bookstore? A trail? A view? A road?

What are the places that are most meaningful and memorable to you? Add them to the map.
