Schedule: Ghosts from the Future

Ghosts from the Future will begin in late-July and run through mid-September. The first week is for signing up for the book club and picking up your copy of 1984. The first three weeks are slated for reading 1984, supplemented by bonus articles and content. During the week of August 18, we’ll aim to confirm the schedule for live group discussions and expert conversations. If you’re looking for a target date by which to complete the book, then aim to turn the last page before the first group discussion/expert conversation once it's scheduled (around the week of August 25). The book club will conclude the week of September 15.

We’ve announced our schedule for the Summer Book Club’s group discussions and expert conversations. Psychologists Steven Pinker and Shoshana Zuboff will join us to discuss themes from George Orwell's 1984. Please head here for more information on dates and times.

We’ll update the schedule over the course of the summer here, on this page, which you can access through the top menu of the book club website. As we progress through the schedule and confirm dates and times for discussions and events, we’ll add these details to that page and share them with you via email.
